It happens all the time that some candidates do not know the retirements of IT certification exams. So when they are ready to take their IT certification exams, they found that they can not register them any more. To avoid that, we would like to list some retirements of IT certification exams that we found recently. There are most IT certification exams which are about to retire. If one of the following is your exam, you need to check and make sure you can take before the last test day successfully.

CompTIA Certification Retiring Exams

CompTIA Security+ SY0-501 exam English language retires on July 31, 2021, other languages retire in Q1 of 2022.

CompTIA Security+ certification is the first security certification that IT professionals should learn and earn. It is a global certification that validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. Now, you can choose to take and pass SY0-601 exam to CompTIA Security+ certification.

Microsoft Certification Retiring Exams

Microsoft DP-200 Implementing an Azure Data Solution and DP-201 Designing an Azure Data Solution exams will be retired on August 31, 2021. DP-200 and DP-201 exams are the two items required for Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification. DP-203 Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure replaces the two exam as the requirement of Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.

VEEAM Certification Retiring Exams

Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) Certification exam is documented proof that an administer or engineer has the necessary level of expertise to protect an organization’s data with Veeam Availability Suite. Now, VMCE2021 is available, VMCE2020 exam is expected to retire October 31, 2021.

VMware Certification Retiring Exams

VCAP-CMA Design 2021 Certification 3V0-732 exam will be retired on July 31, 2021. The replacement is 3V0-32.21 exam. VMware 3V0-732 exam mainly tests your ability to design a vRealize Automation 7.2 solution by validating product and technical knowledge as well as the ability to analyze, evaluate, and create solutions, while VMware 3V0-21.21 tests your ability to design a VMware Cloud Management solution by validating product and technical knowledge as well as the ability to analyze, evaluate, and create solutions.

VMware Certified Master Specialist – HCI 2021 certification 5V0-21.20 exam will be retired on August 31, 2021. The updated exam for this certification is 5V0-21.21 which validates your ability to deploy and manage a software-defined storage solution with VMware vSAN.

2V0-61.20 Professional VMware Workspace ONE 20.x exam is retiring soon on September 30, 2021. The new exam for VCP-DW 2021 certification is Professional VMware Workspace ONE 21.X 2V0-62.21 exam.

Fortinet Certification Retiring Exams

Fortinet certifications have 8 levels currently. We have collected that NSE 5, NSE 6 and NSE 7 all have exams to retire.

NSE 5 Network Security Analyst ceritification requires to pass any two of NSE 5 certification exams. You need to pay attention to the version, both NSE5_FAZ-6.2 and NSE5_FMG-6.2 exams will be retired on August 31, 2021. The current NSE 5 exams available are NSE5_FAZ-6.4, NSE5_FMG-6.4, NSE5_FCT-6.2, NSE5_FSM-5.2 and NSE5_EDR-4.2. You can choose the two of them to complete NSE 5 Network Security Analyst ceritification.

As one of NSE 6 Network Security Specialist certification exams, NSE6_FWF-6.2 Fortinet NSE 6 – Integrated and Cloud Wireless 6.2 is still available now. But it will be retired on October 31, 2021. If one candidate who has registered NSE6_FWF-6.2 exam, please make sure to pass before that day.

Also, three NSE 7 Network Security Architect certification exams are retiring, including NSE7_PBC-6.0, NSE7_SAC-6.2 and NSE7_ATP-3.0. Both NSE7_PBC-6.0 and NSE7_SAC-6.2 exams will be retired on July 31, 2021. NSE7_ATP-3.0 will be retired on August 31, 2021.
